Messages and Telegram Notifications

The Messages tab connects Gladiatus Helper Bot notifications to Telegram.

Overview

Use this guide when you want Telegram alerts for important Gladiatus messages and events. The extension can generate an access token, open the Gladiatus Helper Bot Telegram link, and let you choose which notification types are active.

How It Works

Generate an access token from the Messages tab, then open the Telegram bot link while the token is active. After connecting Telegram, choose which notification categories the extension should forward.

You can refresh the token if you need to reconnect, or disconnect it when you no longer want Telegram notifications for that account/server.

Settings

• Get Access Token: Generates the Telegram connection token for the current player, server, and language.
• Access Token: Shows the active token after it has been generated.
• Refresh Access Token: Requests a new token if the current connection needs to be renewed.
• Disconnect Access Token: Removes the Telegram connection token.
• Telegram Bot Link: Opens GladiatusHelperBot in Telegram with the generated token.
• Private Messages: Enables notifications for private messages.
• Guild Messages: Enables notifications for guild messages.
• Battle Reports: Enables notifications for battle-related messages.
• Game Events: Enables notifications for event-related messages.

Recommended Setup

• Generate the token only from the account/server you want to connect.
• Open the Telegram bot link immediately after creating the token.
• Enable only the notification types you actually want to receive.
• Disconnect the token if you stop using Telegram notifications on that account.

Common Mistakes

• Generating a token but not opening the Telegram bot link.
• Leaving every notification type enabled when you only need important alerts.
• Forgetting to refresh the token after reconnecting Telegram.
